Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
Shipping to the UK
Our website automatically calculates your shipping costs based on the weight of your order.

All orders are sent using City Links next day courier service. This service is a guaranteed next day service apart from on weekends and public holidays. For your information we will email you the tracking number for your order upon dispatch. This will enable you to track your parcel online and also to contact your local depot to make special delivery arrangements if required or even to collect from their depot in person if more convenient.

Please note that we cannot guarantee next day delivery in certain situations, these are:
* In the case of sever weather
* In the case of sever traffic
* If you give us the wrong address and / or postcode
* If you live out-with the UK mainland
This is a non-exhaustive list.

Delivery Details
You must provide us with the correct postage details. If you do not then we cannot guarantee that your delivery will arrive where you expect it to.

If you need to have you parcel re-directed to a different delivery address after the parcel has been dispatched we are charged by the couriers for this service (£10.96 + VAT as they have to book for a new job) and must pass this charge on to you the customer. The courier will follow any instruction i.e. “Leave in dog kennel if out” but you should be aware that if City Link are instructed to leave any goods without signature, they will do so, but neither City Link nor ourselves will accept any liability for goods stolen after being left without a signature. You should only give these instructions if you are absolutely confident that the goods will remain safe.

Note: Should the courier have to make a 3rd attempt at delivery (after 2 unsuccessful attempts) an additional £7 charge will be incurred by your self the customer please note however that this can be avoided by collecting from City Links local depot. If the courier has to return the goods to ourselves due to there being nobody available to receive it you will be refunded the cost of your order minus the courier charges both ways as City Link charge us to return the goods to ourselves.

Failed Deliveries: We are charged £7 by the couriers for the return of ALL failed deliveries (i.e. after 2 failed delivery attempts and non collection from their depot) and must pass this charge on to you the customer. If your order has been classed as a failed delivery we can either re-send the order (at your cost) or issue a refund (for goods only, less all shipping costs).

Order Cancellation: Under the EC Distance Selling Directive you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 working days of delivery. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract, nor will you have to pay any penalty. You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are audio or video recording or computer software, and you have taken these items out of the sealed packages in which they were delivered to you.
To cancel a contract, write "Cancel Contract" on the back of the invoice. Package the items securely and send them to us with the invoice within 7 working days of the date that the items were delivered. We request that you email us at sales@mydiskshop.co.uk to tell us that you are returning goods before you send them. 24 hours advance warning is required for returns. The return address is: NRG Computing Ltd. 49 Barnton Street, Stirling, Scotland, FK8 1HF.

We recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing). When we receive the goods with the notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order, provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.

Tax Charges
Tax Charges for orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is inclusive of all products ordered.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach the Worldpay Secure Server. They are not held in clear text on any web site. All credit card information is processed by Worldpay using secure encryption methods.

In addition to the UK we are please to announce that we can now ship the the following countries:

In order to see the shipping options relevant to your country you will need to create a new user account available by clicking here. Once you have done this you will need to put in your delivery address. From this point our system will be able to calculate the appropriate postage rates relevant to you.

Pleaes note that NRG Computing (a trading name for NRG Computing Ltd.) is a VAT registered company.

If you are in the European Union you will need to pay "VAT at Source" (this is listed as VAT on our website). VAT or Value Added Tax is a UK based tax which is collected by the UK government on all goods and services sold by VAT registered companies and that if you to are a VAT registered business you can to reclaim the VAT paid from your local VAT office.

We do not remove VAT from European business orders as we have been informed by out VAT office that we would have to be VAT registered in each European country we send business orders too, due to different VAT thresholds in various European countries. Due to the fact that we are a UK online retailer (not Trade/Wholesale) we charge VAT and advise European businesses to reclaim this from their local VAT office.

This means that you should not have to pay any "sales tax" when the items enters your Country.

If your Country has "personal import duty" then you may have to pay for this, and this is your responsibility. Import Duty varies from country to country, if you are unsure, please consult your local Government Importation Office.

We cannot send items to different country to the credit card billing address.

Delivery Schedule
We aim to deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you next day, but ask you allow 1-3 business days for delivery. International orders are generally received in under 5 buisness days, but we do ask you allow upto 14 buisness days.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Returns Policy
While we offer a 14 day refund policy on receipt of goods, this only applies to goods found to be faulty once tested on our own equipment.
NRG Computing does not hold any responsibility for improper usage of equipment or lack of technical knowledge concerning equipment.
NRG Computing does not give technical support or consultancy, please do not be offended if we refuse.

If you wish to return goods for exchange you must do so within 7 days of receipt. The goods must be unopen, and protected by the original wrapping. The cost of the return is borne by the person returning the goods. When returning goods for exchange, please include £5 to cover administration and return postage.

Goods remain the responsibility of the person returning them until safely received at NRG Computing. We recommend using recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for mislaid goods. Exchanges have the same priority as orders.

Remittance Terms
NRG Computing accepts all major credit cards. Credit Card details can be sent securely over the Internet with your order or sent separately by phone or post.
